General Terms and Conditions
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) govern the terms of use of the service (hereinafter: Service) provided by Krisztina Herbály, sole proprietor (hereinafter: Therapist) through the website www.herbalykriszta.hu (hereinafter: Website).

4. Description of service
The Therapist provides individual therapy to clients (hereinafter: Client). The Service applies the principles and methods of Gestalt therapy to support the Client's process of self-awareness and personal development.
The Service does not constitute medical or healthcare treatment and is not psychotherapy. The Therapist works with people who do not have clinical mental health diagnoses, supporting them in self-awareness, personal growth, and recognising and moving through what holds them back.
5. Subject and formation of the contract
The Client engages the Therapist to conduct individual therapy sessions, in person or online. The contract between the Therapist and the Client (hereinafter collectively: Parties) is formed when the Client makes contact by email. The contract takes effect at the moment of successful contact, defined as an inquiry initiated by the Client and confirmed by the Therapist in writing within 3 business days. The Therapist reserves the right to decline any inquiry, with or without explanation.
By entering into this contract, the Client confirms that they have full legal capacity to do so.
6. Sessions
6.1. How sessions work
Following successful initial contact, the Parties agree on the location and timing of sessions by email or phone. Sessions take place at the location or online platform specified by the Therapist.
6.2. Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session, by email or text message. Missed sessions may be rescheduled subject to availability. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged at 100% of the session fee, payable no later than the next session. Exceptions apply in cases of force majeure, including accident, unexpected travel disruption, illness, natural disaster, or similar unforeseen circumstances.
6.3. Fee
The Therapist is entitled to the fee listed on the Website. The fee covers the full cost of the service and is payable in person or by bank transfer.
7. Liability
The Therapist excludes liability for any damages arising in connection with the provision of the Service to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. The Client takes responsibility for accurately representing their age and personal circumstances. The Therapist assumes no liability for any harm resulting from inaccurate information provided by the Client. The Service may not be used by persons without legal capacity. If it becomes apparent during the provision of the Service that a Client requires a different level of support, the Therapist reserves the right to refer the Client to an appropriate professional and to terminate this contract with immediate effect. The Client may not seek damages in such cases. The Therapist's work is informational in nature and does not substitute for professional medical, psychological or psychiatric diagnosis, assessment or treatment. The Client uses the Service at their own risk.
8. Intellectual property
All content published on the Website, including all materials protected by copyright, is the property of the Therapist. Any infringement of the Therapist's intellectual property rights may result in a contractual penalty of HUF 500,000.
9. Entire agreement
This contract constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties regarding its subject matter and supersedes any prior oral or written agreements.
10. Duration
This contract is concluded for an indefinite period.
11. Governing law
Matters not covered by these GTC are governed by the applicable provisions of the Hungarian Civil Code, Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) on contracts concluded between parties at a distance, and Act CVIII of 2001 on certain aspects of electronic commerce and information society services. The Parties agree that the country of performance is Hungary.
